Innovative, reliable and cost effective, the BioMBR™ is a two basin membrane plant from Wastewater Technologies, LLC for those retrofits that cannot accommodate the installation of a Biorotor™ for the biological treatment portion of the plant. The dual basin design allows for biological treatment to meet various treatment requirements while protecting the membranes in a separate basin. This allows Wastewater Technologies to design around simple BOD and TSS removal to enhanced nutrient removal. The separation of the membranes allows for multiple membrane basins that can be taken offline for cleaning and other maintenance requirements while still maintaining plant flow.
Our designs make use of either flat plate or hollow fiber membranes for submerged membrane applications that are ideal for new and retrofit applications. The low hydraulic head requirements for these membranes allow for installation inside self-contained plants or existing shallow basins.
